The Petersen Automotive Museum has a combination of permanent galleries and rotating exhibits. One of the latest exhibits to grace the museum is “The Porsche Effect” that is open now until April 2019. At this exhibit, you’ll learn about the history of Porsche, and the role it had for luxury vehicles and sports cars as it emerged after World War II. The exhibit will include cars, artifacts, footage, and more. If you love German automotives, be sure not to miss this fascinating exhibit. One of the permanent galleries is the fun, Pixar Cars Mechanical Institute. Inspired by the movie Cars, this gallery immerses visitors into an interactive exhibit that brings the mechanical process of building cars to life.

 

Tickets to the Petersen Automotive Museum are $8 for children ages 3-12 and $13 for students and seniors 62+. Adult tickets for those ages 18-61 are $16. There is also parking that is conveniently offered onsite at the museum. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, afterward parking is $15 Monday – Friday from 8am – 11pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 6am-11pm.
